What can you say it's Rita's

We stopped by after visiting the Glen Burnie Carnival to get an ice cream for our daughter. No one was there so we didn't have to wait in line. The two staff members there were very friendly and nice. My daughter got a kids size ice cream with sprinkles and I got an Italian ice-cherry. My husband got banana split. We even sat at the picnic tables they had for customers. We enjoyed the family time having a nice cold desert outside in the summer.

I'm a Rita's fan! My favorite is the custard. Sadly this location and others nationwide are not serving custard and replacing it with ice cream. They do have plenty of ice flavors and this location is clean and accommodating.

I was in the area and stopped by Rita's. It was a busy Friday night with a line. They moved the line quite fast as well as giving Great Customer Service with each person. They even offer samples to try other flavors! Great idea since they have so many to select from. Great staff and very clean and friendly.

Racist establishment. When you're standing in line out in the hot sun when there is only one window open and a group of black males walk up to a closed window and a black male inside opens the window to usher them over to him when he can clearly see there was a line of 10 people long. That is just ridiculous. For a time when we are trying to make things more equal I'm disgusted and will never go back. For a second I thought you know what maybe it's not worth it, but then I said no I'm going to write this review. It's a terrible business model and the owner needs to know it. Probably selling drugs out of it. Wouldn't be surprised.

Good ole Rita's. Dessert is as good as it gets here. I live on the west coast, but every time I'm in town for a one week visit, I make sure to get in at least 3 Rita's pit stops. The gelati is ah-mazing. I like the mango and Georgia peach Italian ice with vanilla custard. You can't go wrong with the chocolate custard either. It's a win-win no matter what you get. Lots of parking in the lot that surrounds the stand but not much table space if you want to eat there. Also note that this place is seasonal, so it's closed during the winter.

This is a very nice location, with a bench or two for you to sit down on and enjoy your treat. They are just like every other location- great flavors and they are generous with their samples. The gelati is the best! I once ordered a Blendini (I think that's what it's called) and really didn't like it, so they made me something else in it's place. That was nice of them- just because I didn't like it, didn't mean they did something wrong.

I have been to three different locations this week - Nursery Road, Balto Annapolis Rd and the one in Dundalk. I had the cherry water ice which was very tasty and really had pieces of cherry in it. Tonight I had a lemon ice, and to tell you the truth, I have had better! Very disappointed with the lemon ice - very bland!!! However, the best flavor was at the Dundalk location where they had the Ocean Spray Cranberry flavor, which was quite delicious! Since I am lactose intolerant, I can't say anything about their custard, although it looks very delicious. Great treat on a hot summer's day!

Got a cantaloupe gelati (layer of vanilla frozen custard, with thick layer of italian ice and topped with more frozen custard) on a smoldering hot day (101F). Very refreshing and the beauty of a gelati is that you can eat the custard, eat the ice, and then mix them together to create this velvety/creamy texture that is oh so satisfying and calms the heat. Server was really generous with the sample as well. Should have this in California!
